This program begins with the cleansing of carcinogens from the body. Carcinogens are cancer causing agents that passes through your stool and the longer it sits the more it comes in contact with the colon wall and can cause colon cancer. Foods that are low in fiber slows down the body’s bowel movement process, particularly meats and white bread. Whole grain, fruits and vegetables provides the vitamin B and protein the body needs, they are very high in fiber and fat-free. Fiber does not contain much nutritional value but its benefit is the effect it has on the digestive tract, its ability to control weight, reduce blood cholesterol and its contribution to avert diabetes. The effect on the digestive tract helps to prevent cancer by: acting as a natural laxative increasing the passing of waste through the colon; and as high fiber foods pass through the bowel, they absorb toxins and carry them out the body so rapidly, cancer causing agents do not have time to form. The National Cancer Institute now recommends a diet high in fiber.
Through this process we recommend refraining from the following foods: Red meat, white bread, fast foods, fried foods, pastries, candy, pancakes, waffles, French toast, and pastas. The next step to the cleansing process is protecting healthy cells from damaging molecules, air pollution and “food additives” play a role in causing cancer, and our best protection from such are foods containing antioxidants. The way it works is, the unstable molecules contained in air pollution and food additives travel through the body, oxidizing everything they touch causing mutations in cells and damage to DNA. The damage caused leaves the body vulnerable to cancer. Antioxidants protect mucus linings in the body and are believed to help prevent many kinds of cancer.
Vegetables are potent sources of a group of vitamins and minerals known as antioxidants and contain the vitamin, minerals and beta carotene necessary to protect healthy cells.
